Eating Disorders
“Unfortunately, everything the experts tell us about diet is aimed at the whole population,
and we are not all the same.”

The Scientist Magazine
“Today, more than 95% of all chronic disease is caused by food choice, toxic food ingredients, nutritional deficiencies and lack of physical exercise.”
Mike Adams, author, investigative journalist, educator
I am a Registered Nutritionist with a special interest in disordered eating (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia and Binge Eating). I have years of clinical experience, work as a lecturer for the renowned College of Naturopathic Medicine and have collaborated for over a decade with the wonderful Bernie Wright of Healing Minds a Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders and Obesity.

My clinic provides a safe space for you to talk, with a focus on the symptoms you would like to change – most often this is related things like mood, energy, anxiety and sleep.
No two people with disordered eating are the same, yet too often I find clients are given nutritional recommendations based solely on a diagnostic label, as opposed to the unique individual they are.
My approach will be collaborative and tailored to you – less of a focus on strict meal planning, calorie counting and what the scales say, and more emphasis on replenishing the nutrients the body and brain require to function properly, when life demands a lot from it.

On occasions I recommend the latest DNA and functional testing facilities available to allow me to pinpoint an approach that is unique to you.

I require those diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa to be in active therapy when we start working together and I will liaise closely with therapist/counsellor to ensure clear communications and a holistic team approach.

If you are ready to take positive steps to relax your relationship with food, so it is no longer the enemy, and want to make long-lasting improvements to your mental and physical health, get in touch. I look forward to supporting you.
