Welcome to Nutriology

"Take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live." (Jim Rohn)

Good nutrition is not about strict, faddy diets, health foods and vitamin supplements.
It's about helping your body get the nutrients it needs to work properly in the world we live in - a busy, demanding and at times, stressful place.

Often, when we are busy or stressed, the first place we cut corners is our eating habits. The food we eat forms the basic building blocks of the body, but most of us have lost sight of the fact that food is fuel and that the purpose of eating is to provide the body with the tools it needs for energy.

Instead we eat for a variety of different reasons, none of which usually relate to the idea of providing our bodies with quality fuel. More often we 'fill up' with foods that we all know aren't really good for us but are convenient.

"Those who think they have no time for healthy eating, will sooner or later have to find time for illness" (Edward Stanley)

We often eat as a secondary activity, eating 'on the go', whilst at the desk at work, when driving or watching T.V. etc, and do not allow time to chew and digest our food properly. This can lead to initial symptoms such as indigestion, bloating, and wind, and in the long term will impact all other areas of health.

"Today, more than 95% of all chronic disease is caused by food choice, toxic food ingredients, nutritional deficiencies and lack of physical exercise." (Mike Adams, author, investigative journalist, educator)

Nutriology works with individuals, schools, businesses and organisations, to design nutrition and wellness programmes that help achieve improved health and performance levels. We don't believe in a 'one size fits all' diet, but will work alongside you, your organisation or key individuals within your organisation, to design programmes that fits in with and takes account of the demands of the individuals lifestyle and helps restore them to full, vibrant health.
